Proximity Switches
GREATECS offers its customers a wide range of Proximity Switches.
Photoelectric, inductive, and capacitive versions are available. GREATECS offers three series of Proximity Switches.
A proximity switch is a non-contact sensor that detects an object in its vicinity and emits a signal, typically used in automation technology to precisely detect the position or presence of objects. There are several types, including inductive proximity switches, which detect metals and capacitive proximity switches, which can detect a wider range of materials, including non-metallic objects and liquids. They are used for tasks such as position detection, level control, or as triggers for safety measures.
